Cancellation Policy – SCOTY

At SCOTY, we strive to provide a comfortable and flexible experience for all pet owners through our online veterinary clinic services, while ensuring proper appointment organization and respecting the time of both clients and veterinarians.
This page explains the cancellation and refund policy, as well as how appointments and payments are handled within the SCOTY application.

Follow-Up Services in SCOTY

When booking a consultation session through the SCOTY app, the client receives a follow-up period with the veterinarian depending on the selected package.
Follow-up services include:
Direct chat with the veterinarian.
Ability to send photos and videos related to the case.
Monitoring the pet’s health progress.
Responding to inquiries during the follow-up period.
An additional free consultation session for selected packages that include follow-up services.
This service is intended to ensure that pets receive continuous veterinary care and accurate follow-up after the main consultation session.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

When booking an appointment within the SCOTY app, a dedicated time slot is reserved for the veterinarian, making that appointment unavailable to other clients.
If you are unable to attend the appointment, we kindly ask you to cancel it as soon as possible.

Cancellation Terms

Appointments may be canceled at least 6 hours before the scheduled consultation time.
If the cancellation is made within the allowed period, the amount will be transferred to your wallet inside the SCOTY app.
You may later use the balance to book other consultations or services within the application.

How to Cancel an Appointment

To cancel an appointment inside the SCOTY app, please follow these steps:
Go to the "Clinic" section.
Navigate to "Current Appointments".
Open the required appointment.
Click on "Cancel Appointment".

Bank Refund Policy

Clients may request to transfer their SCOTY wallet balance to their bank account through the application.

Steps to Request a Bank Refund

Go to "Home".
Select "Complaints".
Submit a "Bank Refund" request.

Bank Refund Fees

If you request to transfer the amount to your bank account, a service fee of 13 SAR will be deducted from the total refunded amount.

In Case the Veterinarian Does Not Attend

If the veterinarian does not attend the scheduled consultation session, the client is entitled to a full refund of the consultation amount.
The client may also request a transfer of the amount to their bank account through:
Going to "Home".
Selecting "Complaints".
Submitting a "Bank Refund" request.

Important Notes

Bank refund processes may take several business days depending on the payment provider and the bank.
SCOTY reserves the right to review any cancellation or refund request in cases of misuse or policy violations.
Using SCOTY services means that you agree to this policy.
