This agreement constitutes a legal contract between you and the SCOTY Platform. Your use of the website or applications signifies your full personal consent to all the terms listed below, which are designed to ensure the delivery of the best healthcare for your pet online.

General Definitions and Scoty Agreement Terms

To facilitate the understanding of this document, we clarify the meanings of the following terms:
SCOTY / Applications / Website: Directly refers to the website www.scoty.com and all related sites, smart applications (e.g., Scoty for Doctors), and their affiliated social media pages.
The Company / We: Refers to (SCOTY World Veterinary Establishment), headquartered in Al Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Content: Includes text, graphics, images, and any veterinary materials produced, verified, or circulated through our platforms.
Services: All consulting and technical services provided through Scoty applications.
Medical Expert: Every veterinarian or certified specialist who has joined the Scoty experts community to provide consultations and interact with users.

Introduction: Scoty's Role in Providing Healthcare for Your Pet

The SCOTY Platform helps you access an elite group of distinguished veterinarians and provides you with accurate health information and comprehensive answers to ensure your pet lives a healthy and sound life.

Medical Disclaimer: SCOTY is Not for Emergency Field Care

Scope of Service: No final medical diagnosis or treatment is allowed for emergency cases via Scoty. The content provided falls under "General Information" and does not create a substitute for the direct relationship between a veterinarian and your pet according to local regulations.
Physical Examinations: SCOTY is not a substitute for a direct physical exam. Reliance on the information provided is the user's personal responsibility.
Virtual Consultations: We provide remote veterinary consultations that include preliminary diagnosis and limited prescriptions as allowed by regulations; these are never a substitute for visiting a clinic when necessary.

Agreement Updates and Freedom to Choose SCOTY Services

We reserve the right to review and update the terms of use periodically. Your continued use of the application signifies your automatic acceptance of these changes. You have full freedom to choose whether to use Scoty or stop using it, but your use of it implies full commitment to its terms.

SCOTY's Role as a Technological Facilitator to Support Your Health Decisions

The Scoty application is designed to support your choices and decisions regarding your pet's health. We believe you are best suited to make the final decision based on professional advice and logical reasoning.
We Do Not Practice Veterinary Medicine Directly
Technical Mediation: The SCOTY platform is a technological facilitator that eases communication with experts and is not considered a veterinary medical facility practicing the profession in its traditional form.
Nature of the Relationship: Experts on Scoty are not substitutes for your own veterinarian, and virtual consultations cannot be used to perform complete physical examinations or obtain officially accurate diagnoses for complex cases.

Duties of Veterinarians and Virtual Consultation Details

Doctors joining the platform are committed to providing the following services professionally:
Visual/Audio Consultation: Providing a consultation session within 30 minutes, followed by a detailed medical report and a prescription adjustable within the app.
Quick Questions: Responding to sent inquiries within 24 hours for a one-time interaction.

Free Complementary Services:

Direct chat to follow up on the case for 168 hours (for the Follow-up Package) or 24 hours (for the Diagnostic Package).
The possibility of booking another free follow-up appointment (in the Follow-up Package), which is non-binding and cannot be canceled.
Notice: Scoty is not legally obligated to provide free complementary services but will do its best to provide them as available.

Always consult your field veterinarian before starting or stopping any treatment, and never ignore professional realistic medical advice because of something you read on "SCOTY" Your pet's physical health requires direct observation in critical cases.

Criteria for Selecting Veterinarians on the Scoty Platform

Accreditation: Only certified and professional doctors participate in SCOTY.
Licenses: Any doctor whose license has been suspended or revoked for any reason is prohibited from participating in providing content or consultations.
Privacy: Your identification data and your pet's data are only visible to the doctor you communicate with to ensure the quality of the consultation.
Independence of Opinion: Doctors are independent service providers; their opinions express their personal professional responsibility and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of "SCOTY."

User Responsibility and Personal Account Security

Account Management: You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and the accuracy of the registered data. It is strictly prohibited to allow any other party to use your identity to post on SCOTY.
Legal Age: You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform, or use it under the supervision of a guardian if you are below that age.
Legal Use: Your use of the content and services must comply with all laws, regulations, and ordinances currently in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Use of Content, Services, and Digital Privacy

Personal Purpose: Content is licensed for personal or educational use only, and any commercial redistribution is prohibited.
Data Protection: Collecting any information about our members or doctors for any reason, including but not limited to sending unsolicited messages (Spam), is prohibited.
Quality and Training: You agree that "Scoty" may record all conversations and calls between you and our doctors or employees for quality control, training, and marketing purposes.

Discount Terms and Scoty Package Reductions

You acknowledge and agree that the policy for discounts or reductions provided by "SCOTY":
Does not include installment payment methods (Tamara, Tabby, etc.).
Is limited only to direct payment methods such as Mada, Visa, and other methods Scoty deems appropriate.

Intellectual Property Rights and Application Usage Licenses

Ownership: Scoty website enjoys the right to own the content and services.
License: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application.
Submitted Data: Any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to SCOTY (excluding personal data) become the property of SCOTY for any purpose whatsoever, including product development and marketing.

Limitation of Legal Liability and Scoty Disclaimer

Applications and content are provided on an "as is" basis. We bear no responsibility whatsoever in the following cases:
Any loss, injury, or death of the pet caused in whole or in part by the user's negligence or misunderstanding of information.
Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in information, regardless of delays or interruptions.
Medical or other important decisions taken based on expert content without reviewing a personal physician.
Violations of laws resulting from the user's misuse of the platform.

Equity and Dispute Resolution

In the event of dissatisfaction with the services, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop accessing and using the site. In the event of a dispute, we commit to resolving it amicably within 30 days through communication with support. If unresolved, the dispute shall be settled through binding arbitration or small claims instead of courts of general jurisdiction.

General Terms and Communication Channels

Agreement Supremacy: This agreement supersedes any previous agreements.
Language: In the event that we provide an English version of this agreement, the English version shall prevail in the event of a conflict.
Modification: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our services without sending a notice to you.
